I've been fortunate to get more music listening time in over the past couple weeks. It's been much needed and appreciated during this long period of isolation and separation from the wider world. I've been running through the catalogs of some of my long-time favorites... like Radiohead, Metric, Muse, Arcade Fire, and TATE. But then out of nowhere a new song catches my ear and I'm reminded of the power of good lyrics and simple songwriting. And that's what these fairly rare entries are all about. What are songs that stick out and make me listen harder and really hear what the artist is saying.
Without further ado, here are a few that caught my ear recently,
Used to Be - Goody Grace
This is me Trying - Taylor Swift
Transplant - Sea Girls
1,2 - mxmtoon
3 Little Words - MisterWives
fuck, i luv my friends - renforshort
On the Line - San Cisco
